Our home grown and only conventional Sangre Grande steelband, Cordettes, will be competing tonight at the Arima Velodrome in the medium category. We will be playing in position #1 after the small bands. The tune of choice is Golo Golo by Second Imij. It is a wonderful arrangement of sweet music by Khion De Las. This band consists of a lot of youngsters including my children with a mixture of a few experienced elders including yours truly.
