PAM ADCOCK IS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR WARD 2 I’ve worked with Pam on many occasions. When Morehart Park needed a major facelift, volunteers got together. Pam showed up, gloves in hand, git her done attitude, ready to go. Ottenheimer park was an eyesore, needed some major work; Pam organized neighborhood volunteers, husband…son… and the four-wheeler to help pull all of the limbs and branches, that were cut down, out into the street to be hauled off. Pam was there working for Southwest Little Rock…I’m talkin’ ‘bout sweatin’ off make-up workin’…for real. Pam was in Wakefield park; this time working hand in hand with the neighborhood residents…many of them our new Hispanic neighbors. (One of the Hispanics merchants even cooked lunch for the workers) There were about 70…80 trash bags…loads of debris that was cleared from the neighborhood park. Pam was one of the last ones to leave. Pam’s opponent in the race for Ward 2 is a bad man in his own right; I admire him. He has fought his butt off for the 12thstreet corridor; as it’s called. And I remember Highland courts back in the day; that was the hub of all of the mayhem that filtered down 12th street and the surrounding area; it was the ‘hood if there ever were one. Mr. Ken Richardson spearheaded a remarkable campaign to totally rejuvenate that area; credit where credit is due. In his focus to create change with the corridor it appears that he has neglected to represent a good size portion of his ward; leaving them without a voice to represent their concerns. I’ve lived out here in Southwest Little Rock for 23 years, and for however long it’s been that Ken has been a director; I don’t know, but I haven’t heard boo from Mr. Richardson out here. And there are people in his ward, ward 2 living and needing representation out here…in Southwest Little Rock. I would think to give him an A- grade at least, but because Director Richardson did not take the Southwest part of the test, an F would be in order as the grade on that section. So overall, I’d have to give him a “C”. Pam Adcock is A+! Pam brings vision to life right down there in the trenches with the people! I know Pam is a hard worker and a proven legislator…she was an accomplished state representative for years so she knows what it means not to get tunnel vision and only represent some of some of her constituents. And then she’s volunteering at the animal shelter working with abandoned animals, involved with the dog rescue program on call 24/7 ready to go anywhere in the country with her dogs to search for and save people’s lives. To me Pam is a sure thing for Ward 2. An ol’ man once told me to never mess up a sure thing for a maybe. So go with Pam; and as Ray Charles used to say, “you got the right one baby! Pam Adcock has not endorsed this.
