PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS GUITARIST DRAKE LEVIN COMING TO BLITZ MAGAZINES WEB SITE Well, not exactly. At least not in that capacity. However, the late, great guitar virtuoso (whose impeccable track record of course included extended tenure in that capacity with both Paul Revere and the Raiders and Brotherhood) subsequently spent a most productive five years along side former Hook drummer Dale Loyola, one time Etta James sideman Jimmy McGhee and Lee Michaels band veteran Joel Christie in an inventive all star band called the Cosmic Travelers. During their five years together, the Cosmic Travelers recorded one live album on 01 April 1972, which was released later that year on the Volcano label. Long out of print, the Cosmic Travelers live LP has just been reissued on CD by Roger Maglios highly prolific and much respected Gear Fab label. Editor/Publisher Michael McDowell will have the story, coming soon to the Reissues/Anthologies section of The Shape Of Things To Come column on Blitz Magazines web site.
