PAY IT FORWARD ... Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8 In the movie, Pay It Forward, a boy in the seventh grade made a difference in the world. This young boy was motivated by his teachers challenge. The boys name was Trevor. He invited a homeless man to sleep in his garage without the knowledge of his mother. One night, however, his mother woke up to find the homeless man working on her pick-up. Scared to death, she pointed a gun at him and demanded to know what he was up to. It was at this point that he showed her how he had successfully repaired her truck and also told her about Trevors kindness and said, Im just paying it forward. As the movie proceeded, Paying it forward changed the lives of the rich, the poor, the homeless and even a prisoner. What has Jesus done for you? You have the duty to pay it forward. Make good things happen for others the way the Lord makes good things happen for you. Change the lives of people in whatever way you can the way Jesus has changed your life. Be patient with people. Be kind. Forgive the offenders. Bring hope to the hopeless. Intact, go about doing good (Acts 10:38). In John chapter 13, Jesus washed the feet of His disciples and told them to pay it forward. Whatever He has done for you is an example of what you should do for others. Dont let Gods goodness end with you. PRAYER GUIDE •. Thank you Lord for what you have done for me. •.
