PLEASE HELP ME - I DIE ON SATURDAY, 10/11/14, UNLESS SOMEONE LIKE YOU STEPS UP FOR ME AND SAVES MY DEAR LIFE! PLEASE READ THE NICE THINGS THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ME AT THE SHELTER: Its JoJo-a-go-go! That smile, those laughing eyes - who could look into this lively little pixies heartbreakingly scarred face and not want to scoop him right up? Its my first time meeting JoJo and Im shocked to see how badly neglected he is; almost half of his body is hairless and inflamed hot spots are visible everywhere that beautiful ebony coat is missing. Add to this the fact that he arrived as a stray with bite wounds from another dog and its clear life has been far from easy for JoJo, in fact it seems to have been downright cruel. But has his traumatic past left him sad? No way! Frightened? Oh heck no! And is he super happy to make new friends whether they be human or canine? You betcha he is! Even an aggressively barking dog we pass is no match for JoJos happy-go-lucky spirit and its big smiles and tail wags for all comers. No surprise that he got a perfect score on doggie socializing in his behavior assessment, this darling boy just loves everyone! JoJo could use some further instruction in the leash walking department but he seems to be quite house trained and will wait patiently for a treat, taking it very nicely from my hand. Socializing may be his number one love but playing with toys comes a very close second and JoJo is beyond thrilled when he sees me getting a plushie and some tennis balls out for him, leaping excitedly up and down until I let him off leash and then he really goes to town! Waiting for my throw with eager eyes he leaps and dashes to catch the flying toy mid-air and once its safely in his mouth, proceeds to shake the dickens out of it in delight. Luckily for the hapless plushie JoJo is not a destroyer, just an enthusiastic shaker and even after all its misadventures the toy emerges unscathed - thats a good boy! So take another look into those hopeful eyes...he may have been through hell and back but now its time for him to start over as a pampered pet, loved and cherished for the rest of his life. Small, dark and handsome JoJo is looking for a new family as active, fun-loving and amiable as himself - is it you hes waiting for?
