PLEASE REPOST/PASS THIS ON, THANK YOU!! To the dark haired teenage boy who was texting & driving in front of me this afternoon ... I was stuck behind you beginning at about 12:50 PM this afternoon, on Route 27N from Natick all the way through Wayland & Sudbury. You were driving very erratically, as if intoxicated, crossing the center lines into oncoming traffic & swerving in the opposite direction every few feet, hitting the curb numerous times, & narrowly missing telephone poles as you drove along, oblivious to the danger you created for all other drivers on both sides of the road. I took this photo at a red light at which you almost slammed into the car in front of you because you were texting. A few minutes later, you nearly ran a red light at the very busy 4-way intersection in Wayland center, slamming on your brakes just in time to prevent a possible tragedy. You ended up stopped smack in the middle of the crosswalk, and, incredulously, I could see you laughing in the drivers side mirror of your car. Yes, it was absolutely hilarious that you came thisclose to killing someone. Likely it wouldve been an innocent person or perhaps an entire family out on a Saturday afternoon doing errands. When I finally turned right to stay on Route 27 towards Maynard, you continued straight, towards Hudson, and just barely missed sideswiping a cyclist in the bike lane. Im sure its far too optimistic of me to hope that somehow, someone who knows you & recognizes your vehicle will see this ... your friends & classmates & parents all need to see this. And I pray that a vigilant police officer spots you engaging in this reckless behavior & stops you before you kill someone. Someone like me, a mother of three, who wants & deserves to live a long & healthy life without knowing that at any time, someone like you could erase her life in one single second of carelessness.
