PROGRESS!! I was informed tonight (from another commissioner) that our county mayor stated that he will support a nativity scene along with the Christmas decor, once he has the legal approval on it. This is a huge win for the voice of the people and for Maury County being a leader for freedom of religion. My goal was to make sure our county didnt stand in opposition to religion. This is scheduled to be an item on the agenda for the admin meeting on Thursday at 4:30. I could use everyones show of support for this milestone. Thank you.
