EVERY DAY: _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ . (Review where I need to grow.) “I don’t mean to say I am perfect, I still haven’t learned all I should, but I “keep working toward that day when I will finally be” all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be. No, dear brothers, I am still not all I should be…” Phil. 3:12-13 (LB) Psalm 139:23-24 NIV Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, THE TRAP: ____________ . (Pride) “Test yourselves” to make sure you are solid in the faith. Dont drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it. I hope the test wont show that we have failed. But if it comes to that, wed rather the test showed our failure than yours. Were rooting for the truth to win out in you. We couldnt possibly do otherwise. We dont just put up with our limitations; we celebrate them, and then go on to celebrate every strength, every triumph of the truth in you. We pray hard that it will all come together in your lives.
