This is what Im doing to make a difference. Where is the SUPPORT??? >Pat On The Back Foundation is working to sponsor youth for an educational/historical youth trip to Washington, DC, from October 23, 2014 through October 26, 2014. >>> >>> >>>We plan to sponsor five (5) youth leaders from San Diego area high schools for this youth trip. The youth leaders selected are students who were identified by their teachers/counselors as ones that exemplify leadership, academic drive and have community involvement as a leader of the present and future. Students are being selected from: Hoover High School, Lincoln High School, San Diego High School, Helix High School, and Morse High School. >>> >>> >>>We have partnered with Pursuing Your Passion Foundation to open the trip to include three (3) additional youth to participate. There will be four (4) chaperones attending as well. >>> >>> >>>We are in the process of scheduling events for the youth to visit historical sites: The U S Capitol, Senate gallery, Library of Congress; U S Capitol; The White House; the Supreme Court, the new MLK Monument; and a educational/college tour of Georgetown University. We have also been invited to participate in the youth peace march at the U S Capitol. A copy of the informational flyer is attached for your consideration. All of which will be beneficial to the youth participating in this youth trip. >>> >>> >>> Pat On The Back Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to supporting disadvantaged and at-risk youth in the community. Since June 2012, we have been actively creating positive and unique opportunities for them to experience. We were fortunate to bless over 1350 youth since inception. Each youth event we have sponsored has been completely FREE for the youth that participate.
