People have been asking what my agenda is. What Id like to say is that I have no personal agenda. I dont have a friend or relative that I want to see get hired. My own children are in high school, so many of the decisions and policies I will help set wont even affect them. However, I do have some things that are important to me. In a nutshell, I want to see our teachers get more support. Too many experienced, long-term teachers are leaving education and never looking back. I also want to see our school libraries get more support. I will be sharing information about the positive impact well-funded libraries can have on districts like ours.
