People talk about loving one another all the time. In the discussions we are having now about North Carolina passing gay marriages, people are making comments like I love all people and I want all people to be happy. Let me ask. If you truly love, wouldnt you want to lead people based on what Gods word says? Not on your personal bias. Let me ask this. If your child is out doing something that would not please you, wouldnt you want to correct them about that wrong doing? Does it mean you dont love them because you dont agree with them? Even if your child says the wrong they are doing makes them happy, wouldnt you want to correct them out of love ? As Christians, giving Biblical guidance it does not mean we dont love. If anything, its one of the greatest loves because we are more concerned about your eternity than we are about the here and now. Dont be mistaken. Legalizing something doesnt mean its right if it does not line up with the word of God. Just because it become popular doesnt mean God has changed his mind. God will do just as he did in the old testament where the people asked for a king but it was not the king that God thought they needed. So he stepped back and let them have it there way. God will not hinder the will of the people. But that does not mean he will not judge them for the bad decisions they make. Everything that feels good or makes you happy, doesnt mean God is pleased. God I pray for our nation. I pray for our churches who have failed the confused, broken hearted and has not been the true light for your people. I pray for people who have not sought you for guidance in this decision because if they had we would not be at this cross road. May those who agree with the approval of gay marriages see and understand their battle is not with You God or your children. The enemy is out to kill, steal and destroy. And sometimes he does it and it looks and feels good to those he destroys. But I pray that all will search your word for TRUTH. God I for one will love what you love, and hate what you hate. That doesnt mean the people, but the sin. Help people receive your love God but also help them know with clarity that one day You will also be our judge. And just like when we go into the courts of this world we are judged on what is written You will also judge us on whether or not what I do, how I live in the here and now lines up with Your Word. If we are truly saved, we wont be trying to figure out how to live a life that doesnt line up with Your Word.
