Peppermint oil is the first oil I use in the morning. It helps me wake up and clears any stuffiness from my sinuses. Peppermint is also a great pain reliever for headaches and injuries like sprains and muscle soreness. When layered on top of other oils, it will drive them deeper into the tissues. Also used for digestive complaints and nausea and can be applied topically or taken internally as long as you are using a therapeutic grade oil such as Young Living. It can be used to flavor foods, but this type of oil is very different from an extract like you would find in the baking aisle or for scenting purposes. The main difference is from the distillation method and it is very concentrated - ONE DROP of this peppermint is equal to what you would get in 28 cups of peppermint tea.
