Peter Vielvoye,I had a bit of a false alarm I am glad to say. I knew my fan was loose on the YT and causing a rattle but did not think it could have been causing the vibrating noise that was only to be heard and felt when the engine was really hot and on deceleration during driving, or after revving hard at a standstill. As it was only happening when the engine was really hot, I was beginning to fear the worst. However after I had investigated the pump, I found the rattle was being caused by the keyway in the pulley. (see photo) It had broken away at the end allowing the key to twist around and out of the keyway and was only just driving the fan which was causing quite a wobble. A replacement pulley has cured the wobble and on refitting both noises have miraculously gone away. Lesson learnt, one problem can cause two different noises.
