Picture it: Burger King, yesterday after a long afternoon of baseball...kids are starving...we stop to eat lunch at almost suppertime. The elderly couple in front of us is struggling to count out change with tremors...the clerk alerts the exasperated sweet lady that she is still short. I motioned to Ryan who quickly agreed and paid the clerk what they were missing before they even knew and we carried on. Jordan, appalled that Jackson ordered a sundae, changed her mind after placing her order and wanted a milkshake. I implored her to eat her food and we would see about getting her one before we left. Almost finished with our meal, we saw a group of teen girls enter the restaurant. They spoke together briefly then walked straight over to our table and said Hi, we are from the FUMC Newton youth group and are on a scavenger hunt. We would like to know if we can have permission to buy someone at your table a milkshake! Thats right folks! Big things, little things, in ALL things, God is good ;) #payingitforward Be encouraged!
