Played a solo game of Sentinals of the Multiverse tonight since I picked up a couple expansions w/ Christmas cash; Visionary, Scholar, Fanatic and Starlight (a fan deck, dld, and printed from BGG) vs. The Ennead in the Final Wasteland. All except Starlight randomly selected. Owutch. Heroes won, and all 4 were still up at the end, but only just. The last turn was just the heroes attempting to survive the herd of cryptids theyd been mostly ignoring all game. Geb was probably particularly unhappy about being a rat-thing chew toy, in the early turns. The environment might have won in the end, were it not for Fanatic stepping between them and everyone else, and Visionary controlling a couple (i.e. redirecting damage). It would have been a stand-on-my-chair ending, if it hadnt been a solo play, but it was still engaging and very challenging.
