Please need some advise. Im sat here crying with pain as I feed my three month old. Nipple stinging then deep pain radiating in both breasts. Weve just come from a week in hospital were she was unable to breath and feed properly so Ive been pumping and feeding her 24/7 she has Also got really bad thrush in her mouth, groin and underarm. Which she is being treated for. I was unable to be treated there as it was a childrens unit and they told me I had to see my own doctor when we came out. Just drove straight to the doctor when we were released this afternoon. He was an older gentleman who first told me I had over used my breast from tandem feeding my three year old. Ive not feed my three year old all week as Ive been by babys bedside. Ive asked couldnt it be thrush and he said you dont get thrush inside the breast only on the surface. Which he he didnt think i had. He also didnt think I had an infection as Ive no temp and no redness on my breasts. So he said they are probably bruised from pumping to feed baby via the feeding tube. Im just in pain upset very very tired not slept for the last four nights and dont know what to do. How do I relieve the pain. Help. RP Nikki
