We have a duty to support our young people. This matter could have ended up quite differently. It is time to make a stand and hold the authorities to account. Therefore help and support this young man and his family by writing individual letters of complaint to the Police & Crime a commissioners Office and please circulate this email. Thank You Desmond Jaddoo Below is a suggested draft: Fao Bob Jones Police & Crime Commissioner Llloyd House Birmingham B4 6NQ Dear Mr Jones I am writing to you concerning Shakeil Jackson a 19 year old young black man from Handsworth that was detained by West Midlands Police for some 15 hours despite protesting his innocence that at the time of the incident he was at Thornhill Road Police Station reporting his Motor-Bike being stolen. The Police did not bother to follow this up until some 15 hours later at which time he was released without charge. This is totally unreasonable as it takes a matter of minutes to check CCTV. I would urge that you have this matter fully investigated and hold the Police to account.
