Plenty of cloud cover and a slower-than-expected arrival of the colder air has kept temperatures from dropping as much as expected this morning. Nonetheless, it is cold this morning, and temperatures have fallen to the lower to mid 20s north of Highway 84, while temperatures are in the upper 20s to lower 30s near the coast. Wind chills are in the teens and 20s, so dress warmly if venturing outside. A few snow flurries will be possible over southeast Mississippi and southwest Alabama this morning, but no accumulations are expected with much drier air moving into the region. We would love to hear of any light snow reports!
