Police are investigating after a man presented at hospital with a stab wound last night. About 6.20pm (Tuesday 16 December 2014), a 21-year-old man was driven to Auburn Hospital by a friend. The man, who has a single stab wound to the stomach, is currently in a stable condition and is due to undergo surgery. Investigators are yet to determine where the incident took place. Officers from Flemington Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s injury and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.au/ Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
