Porsha Stewart: I Never Asked Kordell For Anything Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart sat down with Bethenny Frankel to dish about her life after divorce. Now that her divorce settlement has been finalized from Kordell Stewart, Porsha reveals she never asked him for anything. “I didn’t ask for anything. Right now in the press it’s, ‘Porsha didn’t get anything, poor Porsha,’ and people are feeling bad for me and feeling sorry for me because I didn’t get anything and they think that we went to trial and I lost,” Porsha explained. “I didn’t go to trial, I chose not to go to court. So there was no judgment.” “It just tore me apart to go through this divorce,” Porsha shared. “It was so traumatic! And it ruled over my life. Every single day. And I wanted the freedom… I wanted to be done with it.” She continues, ”Before we had court the next week, I woke up, I called my attorney… ‘I said listen: I’m done with this. Get the divorce decree I’m coming to sign it.” “I said the only thing I want him to do is pay for my hospital bills because I didn’t have insurance. He didn’t have insurance on me or his son,” she revealed. ”So I’m good! I’m completely independent.”
