Eligibility The person eligible for appointment should possess the following attributes: (i) Hold PhD or other academic Doctorate; (ii) Bat least of the rank of Senior Lecturer or its equivalent at the time of application; - (iii) At least Three (3) years Managerial ability in Hipttt_ Education or Research Institution with at least track record of having served as Head of academic Department or Research Project Manager; (iv) Teaching experience of at least four (4) years in any of the disciplines being offered in the College he/she intends to lead; (v) Be at least 40 years old and not beyond 61 years at the time of applying for the applicants who are currently at the rank of Associate Professor and or Professor, (vi) Be at least 40 years old and not beyond 56 years at the time of applying for applicants who are currently at the rank of Senior Lecturer; Job Description The Deputy Principal Deputises for the Principal of the College and performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Principal in conformity with the laid down procedures of Makerere University.
