Chapter 59 59:1 Behold, the LORDs hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. அதிகாரம் 49 1 தீவுகளே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள், தூரத்திலிருக்கிற ஜனங்களே, கவனியுங்கள், தாயின் கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்ததுமுதல் கர்த்தர் என்னை அழைத்து, நான் என் தாயின் வயிற்றில் இருக்கையில் என் நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்தினார். 2 அவர் என் வாயைக் கூர்மையான பட்டயமாக்கி, தமது கரத்தின் நிழலினால் என்னை மறைத்து, என்னைத் துலக்கமான அம்பாக்கி, என்னைத் தமது அம்பாறாத்தூணியிலே மூடிவைத்தார். 3 அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ என் தாசன், இஸ்ரவேலே, நான் உன்னில் மகிமைப்படுவேன் என்றார். 4 அதற்கு நான்: விருதாவாய் உழைக்கிறேன், வீணும் வியர்த்தமுமாய் என் பெலனைச் செலவழிக்கிறேன், ஆகிலும் என் நியாயம் கர்த்தரிடத்திலும், என் பலன் என் தேவனிடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது என்று சொன்னேன். Chapter 49 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; 49:3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified. 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
