Praying for all of our men and women serving in the military and in embassies around the world. 9-11 seems to bring out the worst in many of our enemies. Benghazi - one year ago, 9/11/01 12 years ago. America is more than a country. America is an idea that everyone is a person of dignity, of great worth, that we care for, nurture, and help. People are not to be gassed to death, beheaded for differing ideologies or theologies; they are not to be marginalized, kept from succeeding, or held back. Whether a CEO, a handicapped worker, or a person on welfare - you are of great value to the Creator of our unalienable rights. Praying for our president. Praying for our elected leaders. Praying for our electorate to realize the high ideals we are called on to uphold via the unalienable rights of free speech, the ballot, and civil action. America was borne out of the ideals of the shackled and oppressed masses who stood up in the face of tyranny and said, "No more. We were created free by our Creator." And in this land of the huddled masses, we owe it to posterity to defend, fight for, and selflessly uphold the ideals and rights given to us by our Creator. Why are we so beset and challenged by little thugs around the globe? Because we make the ideals work at great cost, constraint, and respect for our fellow man rather than gassing and beheading one another. Let us hold high our ideals while humbly on our knees before our Creator.
