Pre-poll violence of this extent has not been observed in Bengal at least in my lifetime!!! The whole point in this is of course to scare YOU. To not go to the booth and cast your vote. To allow the hooligans the run of the electoral scene... I still have faith in my states people...I still have faith you will go out tomorrow and cast your own vote...the only real power the Constitution of India gives to you and me... I still have faith that you have the courage and conviction in you to stand up against those who will try to make a travesty of DEMOCRACY. I am anxious about what tomorrow brings...but I am not afraid. My 70yr old father has become a polling agent in our booth. Well in this case,of course, I am worried.Not for him.
