Pre-training assessment includes: 1. Body composition in terms of body fat percentage, blood pressure, resting pulse rate and weight. These are the key factors in monitoring progress in your training and nutritional changes. Weight may stay the same, but if body fat is reduced, and lean muscle increases, youre doing something right! 2. Muscle endurance - push - ups, body weight squats, pull - ups. How many can you do in a minute? 3. Muscle strength - We test your one rep max 4. Cardio endurance - How fast can you whip off a mile? Running, walking and crawling all count...... 5. Flexibility......this matters as you get older. Like me..... This is the starting point in any training regime, as you would like to measure progress as you go along. So, if you, or any of your mates, would like a completely free assessment to see where you are at fitness-wise, please give me a shout. Free, no-charge, mahala, gratis, for nothing.......:)
