Precious Heavenly Father, I come to sit quietly in Your Presence this hour of my day. Praising You for awakening me for today. I lay down all my worries and concerns at Your feet and ask that You grant me strength. I ask that You prepare me to face the trials and tribulations that this day will offer. I ask that You take my hand and carry me through the day. Help me Father to seek You in all things and place my trust in You. Father, I humble myself before You this hour in hopes that my pride will fall away. Help me Lord, to seek Your Presence in my day and Praise You forever and ever. Father, I praise You for my precious family, my loving friends, my humble home and my job. Lord, I know that it is only through Your grace and mercy that I have any of these. Father, I ask that You forgive me of my sins and guide me through this day. Father, I ask that You continue to speak to the hearts and souls of my family and friends. I ask that You be with them and guide them today and everyday. Father, there are many on my prayer list this hour. I ask that You lay Your healing hands upon them and heal their broken and diseased bodies and souls. Father, I ask that You be with those who are lost and wandering within their own minds. Father, I humbly ask that You lead them back to us. Father, I ask whole heartedly that You be with those who are suffering from loss this hour. Please place Your loving arms around them and carry them through the darkness of this day and comfort their souls. Father, please be with those who are lost in sin. Speak to their hearts and souls and light the path they are to follow. Lord, I ask that You continue to be with all those who serve our country. Lead, guide and direct them on their journey and bring them home safely. Lord, be with our leaders today and everyday as they make decisions that affect us all. Father, we ask that You continue to be with Obama as he handles the heavy load that he has to carry. Bless him, Father, and lighten his load with Your mercy. Father, I lift up this simple prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, as You have commanded Your servant. AMEN
