Prematurity Awareness Day 2014 Many of you know the journey - TopicsExpress

Prematurity Awareness Day 2014 Many of you know the journey our family has been on the past 2 years and some of you do not. Kingston and Zoey were born at 23 weeks and 4 days weighing 15.9oz (Zoey) and 1lb 1oz (Kingston). They spent over a 100 days in the NICU at Womens Hospital and fought for their lives. I have never seen such determination and strength in such small babies!! Up until then I had never seen babies that small ever! They continue to amaze me and defy all the odds!! Zoey had some setbacks last year and we almost lost her (complete respiratory failure, 2 strokes, partial paralysis, and more than I will list at this time) but God stepped in and said not this little girl!! She got better slowly but surely even after the Doctors said there was nothing else that could be done and to start saying our goodbyes. They didnt know there was an army of believers praying hard in her behalf!!! Kingston shocked everyone and hit the ground running, literally! He started to pull up and the next thing I knew he was running in circles! They still have some developmental delays and we have a long road ahead of us but I know that God brought them this far and he will continue to give them more to add to their testimonies! Im crying as a type this but they are not sad tears!! They are happy, elated, proud, grateful tears!!! Thank you all for your support these past two years and for your continued support and prayers for our family! #preemieawareness #november17 #mysuperheroes #myheartontheoutside
