INTE-789568 Description The intern will gain practical experience in curriculum delivery, classroom management, individual planning and whole school planning as well as extra-curricular activities that form an essential part of the primary school experience. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: preparation of short term planning, long term planning, assessment, teaching methodologies and whole-school literacy strategies while being mentored by the class teacher. On completion the intern will have attained skills in: planning, delivery of curriculum objectives, communication, assessment of and for learning and co-operative skills. Skills Requirements Candidates must be highly motivated with an in-dept understanding of the Primary Education system. Please Note: This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
