QUESTION FROM A #BOYMOM: I have an almost 7-year-old who has been getting up at night since May. It may be immediately after being put to bed, or the middle of the night, but always for a made-up random reason. He always comes to me when he does this. We have literally tried everything we can think of (spanking, donating his toys, charging him money from his piggy bank, taking away electronics, sticker charts, making him earn electronics time, written apologies) and nothing works! Hes always had blackout curtains. Does anyone have any suggestions, before I lose my mind completely? Its as frustrating as having an infant wake you up at night, but even more so with no hope of an end in sight. I work full-time, and cant continue in this sleepless cycle. Please flag abusive or unkind comments. This is a Christian community, and we’re here to help and encourage moms!
