Quick Barney update - Barney decided to stay in his new cage today even though the door was open! He ate like a little piggy overnight as well. I had to pop out this morning and was out longer than anticipated and came back to a half empty pot so I thought aaaah shy secret eater. Anyway at about tea time he came down off his perch bold as brass and started eating in front of us all and has just done the same for supper so i have sneaked him some extra grapes and pomegranate in his pot. I have also discovered that he loves the dried plain banana chips which are also Charlies fave treat - Poppy cant stand them! He takes these and grapes out of your hand and will travel throughout the cage for banana chips so i can see these being his training treat :) You can see him observing the other 2, watching and hopefully learning and im sure he gave a couple of squeals before. Poppy visited him twice today making her way across the floor but did pinch something that he had dropped and ate it so her intentions were not honest ones. On the other hand Charlie is behaving brill and more or less showing off with his flying and getting cuddles as well as singing whistling etc it actually looks like he is teaching Barney that this really is as good as it gets. I love my little flock :)
