RE: Update for all Brats – 1/9/15 Brat Friends, Just returned from my assignment on the Star Princess! Onboard – and those attending my seminars (maritime and historical) included a retired DoDDS educator who knew other DoDDS educators I know, a Stuttgart grad, and the mother of four Brats who wants to be involved with us! Are you ready for a laugh? This guy who spent six years studying to become a priest was asked to lead a Christmas ecumenical service – complete with sermon! This past week has been spent getting caught up on ‘Brat things’ and recovering from a nasty cold. BRAT INSIGHT: It may sound easy to announce you are going to do a regional get-together, but there is a LOT of work involved to pull it off! It is not enough just to post a notice….you have to go ‘out there’ to find Brats that are interested in attending….then start a dialog with them so they get to know who is hosting the event, what’s involved and what THEY are going to get out of it. Much of this week was spent on spreading the word about the upcoming regional events…and Brats are now getting interested and are registering! At this time…….
