REAL TALK! I have not spoken for a while so its time for me to get some things off my chest! TEXAS! Boy I love me some TEXAS. But here are some facts about my state I feel we all should know. Only in Texas if you are a Billionaire you are only entitled to pay $1700 on child support per child. Yes they pay a couple of hundred dollars more then I do and Im not even a Millionaire (Yet)! Only in Texas a man gets arrested for paying to much Child Support and SEEING HIS CHILD TO OFTEN! I would like to elaborate on that as well. How can a man see (visit) his child to often? As a black MAN in America it strikes me that we are labeled as dead beat dads and we are absent from our childs lives, etc...Well here are some facts that are going on in our lives that you should know. Only in Texas we as FATHERS pay Child Support, Medical, Dental and vision, 1/2 of daycare (pray to God she doesnt put he/she in private school), 1/2 of medical bills, etc..All of that seems FAIR and maybe it is but why am I only allowed to see MY child when a piece of paper tells me when I can or even WHERE I can. So I can do all of this and guess what Im not even allowed to see my child 1/2 of the time. So there you have it. We are only allowed to see our child a couple of hours on Wed and every other weekend and if you live more then 100 miles apart (like myself) you get your child 1 weekend out of the month. So weaker individuals would rather just say The Hell With This and pay child support, etc. for NO MAN wants to be controlled, especially when it comes to his child. So they pay the money and just dont want to be bothered. You have those guys that get it and know they cant afford it so they go low key and get off the radar. You get behind, they will come get you, put you in jail and still charge you monthly. Thats how it all starts. Here is a question for you! How many people do you really know that can go get $15000 out of an acct and be ok to splurge it. Well yall know my family (hard workers that made a living working and paying bills) so yall know I didnt come from ANY TYPE of a money spot. Well have that $15000 charged to you every year and get told you owe $15000 in back child support cause the child is a year old. See how fast you get that F- IT mentality. Then you have Soldiers like me who say Thats my child, it is what it is, and a fight come with it. Im gone give you the opportunity to smell my cologne, ya dig. Only in Texas, child support and visitation are 2 separate cases. Only in Texas, the same A Hole who has every working man in this broken system ANGRY, is running for Governor, lol ONLY IN TEXAS!
