Please see below the leaflets that we will be distributing on that day: WOMEN OF KENYA UNITED FOR PEACE: As women of Kenya we condemn violence, we raise our voices and say “Not again!” That is why we are standing shoulder to shoulder to remind our politicians to trend carefully and refrain from any actions or utterances that can spur violence: • We raise our voices and demand peace and a conducive environment where together with our children we will not just survive but thrive. • We cannot remain silent and wait for our bodies to be turned into battle grounds. • We refuse to bury more children or to witness our children uprooted from the places they have always called home. • A time has come for all women and men of Kenya to unite for peace and realize that we can peacefully co-exist regardless of tribe, religion or gender.
