***REMINDER : OUR COMPETITION IS ALSO STILL GOING : THE NEW ALOFI BRAND LOGO DESIGN COMPETTITION : Fakalofa lahi atu Alofi. Heres a competition ( just like last year ) from your new Alofi Village committee. We want you to enter our brand logo competition to help us create a new look and brand for our committee to use ( because we need a new logo). The winning entry will be our Alofi Village logo which we will use for a multi-use tshirt design for Alofi sports, events, social wear etc and which will be associated with our village forever more Anyone can enter this competition from age 12 upwards with their logo which will reflect Alofi pride. Ideas for symbols can include the vaka, the Niue national flower, the marlin, Niue plant patterns, hiapo designs, a katoua, the sea etc. All entries must be original and not used elsewhere. Assorted donated prizes from our committee will include a box of wine, $100 gift and a free Alofi tshirt . Close date is on 8th June 2014 @ 5pm and no late entries will be taken. All entries will be digital designs at 300 dpi ( for printing purposes ).You can private mail your entries from today onwards to Christina Patii or myself, Zora Feilo here on FB. We are looking for 1 outstanding Alofi design. Winners of the logo competition will be displayed and judged by the audience on Saturday 12 July at the Grey Lynn Bowling Club at the Alofi Mid Winter Christmas Dinner. This starts from 4pm-7pm, with prizes received on this occassion. Entries that are not successful, will not be used anywhere else.
