RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY ATTEMPT An attempt residential burglary occurred to an apartment in the 500 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard. This burglary occurred on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm. Unknown suspect(s) entered the rear walkway of the apartment complex through an unsecured three-foot tall wooden gate. The suspect(s) then ripped open a window screen and smashed the window on the rear door of the apartment. The door was secured by several locks and no entry was made into the apartment. The suspect(s) fled and no property was taken. Anyone with information regarding who saw anyone suspicious in the area or has information on this incident are asked to call the Sierra Madre Police Department’s Detective Bureau, at (626) 355-1414.
