Races Saturday 9th November 2013 Liquifruit Irene Half Marathon & 10 km & 5 km 06h00 - Agricultural Research Council, Olifantsfontein Road, Irene Pre-entries only for the half marathon and 10 km races and are available at selected sports shops. Late entries for the Fun Run only will be accepted on race day. Walkers are Welcome Route Description: Difficulty Rating: 3. Route Type: Circular Both the half marathon and the 10 kilometre are moderate routes. Part of the half marathon route is run on the Agricultural Research Councils Irene Farm with the balance around the beautiful and scenic Irene Dairy Farm, the Irene Golf Course and the farm style Southdowns Residential Estate. The 10 kilometre race is run on the farm and also goes past the Southdowns Estate. Little traffic along the route adds to the enjoyment of this well organised race. Diabetes South Africa Global Run/Walk (5 km) 08h00 - Voortrekker Monument, Pretoria Late entries are accepted at the venue on race day from 07h15 to 08h00.
