Rain prevents schedule start on Sunday SUNDAY AUGUST 18, 2013; NATIONAL TENNIS CENTRE, VILLA – Rain this morning prevented the start of play as scheduled on Sunday morning August 18, 2013. Overnight showers had staff drying the courts when just at about 08:15 a.m., the rains came sending the players practicing rushing into shelter. Dark clouds are still hovering up in the skies, and the organizers are waiting for the courts to be dried before making a determination as to the rescheduled start. Meanwhile twenty-five matches have been scheduled for today in the Under-14s Round Robin tournament, with four Boys 18s singles matches down to be played in the morning session. In the Boys 18s singles matches for this morning, Jorge Ortegon of Mexico the number one seed will do battle with Andrew Symmonds of Barbados on court 4, Johann Redhead of Grenada and Gui Gomez of the USA will clash on court 5. Following will be the Nabeel Majeed Mohammad of Trinidad and Tobago versus Eduardo Camacho of Costa Rico match, and the Simon A. Lewis versus Paul Oliver of the British Virgin Islands clash.
