Raising my kids as a single mom for several years, Ive always asked myself how am I doing. To be honest my kids are not the best in the world. Like most kids they always fight n make fun of each other, they can be rude an disrespectful at times. Almost all the time they are whinning, complaing they want this and that. Im ALWAYS yelling and getting on to them. Then I sit back and tell myself damn I failed at raising them right, they are ungrateful at times and really dont see how hard I try to give them the best. THEN.. sometimes they surprise the CRAP out of me and they have their moments were man they are the BEST!! Lol!!, but I never realized after Ill that they would stop to notice how hard I try to be the best I can be with them. Well yesterday was open house for Cierra and Simon. So here we go visiting their teachers and we go into Cierras class and her teacher is greeting us. Then she tells me they wrote a paper about their hero. Then she goes on saying, Oh my goodness Cierras was sooo touching it almost brought me to tears. Here Im thinking ONo!! who did this girl write about.. lol!! I hope not her Dad like she has before.. lol!! You know always Daddys little girls. UGH!!!! Then I go to her desk and start to read. WOW!!! She brought me to tears 😭😭. Her hero was ME!!! Just the stuff she put on there made me truly feel that I have not failed as a mother. They do notice even though they dont act it. Sorry so length, but man I was super excited!!! I couldnt bring the paper with me, cause her teacher was so proud of her work she wanted to keep it and make a copy. I will post it later when we get it back..
