Random thought: This Friday, this nation will celebrate its 238th birthday. I was born in PA, the 2nd state, home of Independence Hall, where much of the work to bring this new nation to life was done. Now I live in Nevada, who will celebrate 150 years of statehood on October 31 of this year. Buildings in my hometown are older than the state in which I live. We were already 16 Presidents in, when the state I now (and fondly) call home was granted statehood. Theres a lot of history in this great land of ours, from our founding fathers who brought forth this great nation, to, well, the founding Mexicans, Mormons and mobsters who brought forth this oasis in the desert that I now call home.
