Rant by Maree worth sharing... I quote The Castle Its the serenity of it.. Wtf is the problem with people wanting to build a mosque? How is it any different to any other Catholic Church, Cathedral of Praise or Kingdom Hall? Short answer, its not. I havent seen any protests or petitions against those particular religious buildings lately. Noise they say. Sure. How many Australians happily live beside railway lines, arterial roads, wankers named Wazza doing 6.30am doughnuts on the nature strip without a second thought. Its a psychological function called habituation. Look it up sometime. The brain is a marvellous thing! But no, rather than respect peoples differences, we shall just continue on the juggernaut that is the Banana Republic and negatively reinforce our international reputation of bogunism. Toot sweet!
