#RantAlert As someone who has been involved in the hiring process for different positions over the years, I find it extremely disturbing at the rapid deterioration of the English language. You cannot send me an email or a text message requesting for a job and you use Swanglish or use phrases such as hai there or pls considr my cv. There are so many people looking for jobs and if you cannot even take the time to ensure the basics are covered, good luck trying to convince anyone that you are worthy of a chance in their company/organization. If you want to start learning to distinguish yourself, it starts with the small things. You need to make a habit of writing in proper English or Swahili at all times, even when sending text messages. Also improve your reading culture. Join a library. Seek knowledge for the sake of knowledge, and good things will follow. #ThatIsAll
