Re-Post from My Aunt Jacquelyn Branscomb POST ANDERSON 360 INTERVIEW UPDATE: My parents were taken by car to Babatngon by my cousins. Their address is District 2, Sto. Rosario Street. The current issue right now is that my parents in in Babatngon and there is no food there. They chose to go there because there is less of a stench there and they are surrounded by cousins that may be able to go to other towns to find food. Our family is worried that the help is not getting to Babatngon. They did not go to the Airport because of the chaos and conditions that are there. It would have exasperated our parents health issues. WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF TRANSPORTATION TO GET MY PARENTS OUT OF LEYTE AND TO MANILA WHERE MY SISTER IS. We are aware that the US Military is on the ground and we are hoping that maybe a group can head out to Babatngon in hopes of retrieving my parents and possibly getting supplies to the people there. BABATNGON NEEDS FOOD DESPERATELY. Babatngon is a town of a little over 25,000 people and contains 25 barangays. Basically, When heading north and leaving Tacloban, you enter Babatngon. There are many small coastal areas that need relief. My parents are in Babatngnon town proper. WE ARE ASKING CNN IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE ANY COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE MILITARY, WITH THE US EMBASSY, OR ANY CONTACTS THAT CAN HELP IN GETTING THESE AMERICANS OUT OF HARMS WAY. We are constantly worried about the possibility of my mom or dad getting an infection especially since there is no air conditioning or water to keep them hydrated and in stable condition. PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD
