Real talk with@Mwangi on Fidel Castro Odingas death. Tragic and devastating a loss as it may be - has been an absolute eye opener. Contrary to popular belief, Kenya has got not 42 tribes but 43. The 43rd is that of the rich. Once one crosses over into the hallowed lands of wealth and affluence, they cease to belong to any of the 42. The rich associate with each other freely and openly. Fidel, as I read in a couple of CORD leaning bloggers walls, spent his last hours in the company of a couple of friends....most notably, three Kikuyus. We all Know he was a Luo. His first marriage was to a Kikuyu lady.....he didnt retreat into his tribal comfort zone to fetch a wife. He loved and married one from the taboo tribe. When things didnt work out for them, they ended their marriage in an amicable manner and remained good friends. I understand he even chaired the funeral committees when her dad and Bro died. When he decided to marry a second time, he went for an Eritrean. No Luo, nor a friendly tribe, read Luhya, Kisii, Kamba provided a wife. As we were still coming to terms with his death, news of Senator James orengos sons hospitalization came through...and I was amused at the Irony of his wife being kyuk. What Im trying to say is, the rich dont really give a hoot about tribe....unless they need to group you in tribal flocks for vote harvesting once every five years. They otherwise drink, party, marry, cut deals across the Ethnic walls. As you keep slinging tribal insults at each other hidden behind loan purchased third rate laptops and phones, they consolidate their position within the Rich tribe. Open your eyes and stop being stupid. Rest in peace Fidel. Go well#It is well!!...
