Recovery sessions: Following Sundays competition my hip flexors are super tight and lower back is pretty sensitive. So I had a short recovery session today, the goal here was to get the blood flowing, stretch out the tight areas and generally just awaken the senses. Here it is: 20 minutes stretching Using a variety of bands, band stretches to increase the degree of stretch A1. 2x15 KB swings B1. 2x6 per side KB snatches C1. 3x6 per side overhead KB rev lunge C2. 3x20 press ups D1. 2x6 per side KB windmills E1. 2x15 face pulls I feel 100% better. It doesnt always have to be heavy, complicated, fast. This session wasnt particularly tough but it hit the spot! Try it next time your due a heavy session and your feeling tight, stiff, weak. Just take your foot off the gas so you can recover quicker and hit it harder in a few days time #Strength #powerlifting #Cardiff #Training #Recovery
