Remember the puppies that were brought in almost dead, malnourished with their eyes crusted shut and no hair? Some rescuers called them the naked puppies. We named them Charming and Fiona. They recovered well from their rough start and they left for Kentucky on transport exactly 1 week ago. This was the transport we raised money for with the You Caring Fundraiser. Check out Prince Charming! He is adopted already!!! What a handsome boy. This is why we do what we do and why we beg and plead for donations. Thank you to everyone who helped these puppies! Stephanie who picked them up, Dee Crews who bathed them on her days off, Beth Fedigan who also cared for them, Ollie who fostered them when they were strong enough to leave the clinic, LMHS Doc Dr. Hayes for giving them a chance and lovingly caring for them when many vets would have chosen another path, Kenna for playing with them and socializing them 3 days a week while they were at Ollies, Linda Smith and Smith Ranch Kennel along with Forgotten Friends for transporting them, and all the people who donated to the transport or who just shared and cheered. It truly takes a village!! We are so grateful.
