Remember this delight from many years ago. Maria Muldaur (born September 12, 1943) is an American folk-blues singer who was part of the American folk music revival in the early 1960s. She recorded the 1974 hit song Midnight at the Oasis, and continues to record albums in the folk traditions. From the sweet to the salacious to the poignant, Maria Muldaurs eponymous, strong debut features savvy studio vets, talented guests, strong tunes, and Muldaurs lissome pipes. The outstanding players include Ry Cooder, David Grisman, Clarence White, and Mac Rebennack, better known as Dr. John. A tasteful guitar solo by the underrated Amos Garrett elevates the charming surprise hit single Midnight at the Oasis. youtu.be/CzJ-g5QLC24
