Rodgers wrote THREE RELATIONSHIPS IN MINISTRY: There are only 3 REASONS people are connected to you RELATIONALLY in MINISTRY. 1) DISCIPLES: These are people who BENEFIT, HONOR and recognize they NEED the GRACE and WISDOM that GOD has put in you FOR THEM. This group is SUBMITTED, LOYAL and HUNGRY to be in your PRESENCE so that they can LEARN. These are SONS and DAUGHTERS that will be MOLDED to carry your TORCH when you are GONE. 2) SUPPORTERS: This group is more MATURE and provide a RECIPROCAL RELATIONSHIP for you. They glean from you and you glean from them, the KEYS to MOMENTS in MINISTRY when things arent ADDING UP. SUPPORTERS pray for you, encourage you, but are not necessarily PERMANENT FIXTURES in your LIFE. They come in and out of your life at DESIGNATED TIMES by GOD. SUPPORTERS are very PROPHETIC and STRATEGIC because their EAR is on the HEART OF GOD FOR YOU!! Dont try to MAKE THEM into more than what they are. You might only talk to them once a month but that ONE CONVERSATION will have LIFE in it. 3) DESTROYERS: This group started off GOOD but they NEVER gave their HEART to you due to some DYSFUNCTION lurking in a dark place in their SOUL. They KNOW you have the GOODS to bless them but PRIDE, FEAR, PARANOIA, DOUBLE MINDEDNESS, LUST, and JEALOUSY keeps them from making a FULL COMMITMENT to you. Instead of enjoying the blessing of your RELATIONSHIP and VISION, they UNDERMINE and FIGHT everything that you SAY and DO. They challenge your INTEGRITY, MOTIVES, and STRATEGIES. They PRODUCE NOTHING, they AGREE WITH NOTHING, and they CREATE NOTHING. Their SELF-HATRED is manifested in HATING YOU. 2014 IS THE SEASON OF EVALUATION!!
