Robots were never designed for weight loss –bariatric - TopicsExpress

Robots were never designed for weight loss –bariatric procedures. They were contrived for prostatic surgeries and gynecological, essentially single quadrant procedures like a radical hysterectomy/prostatectomy … My itch ,thorough infatuation coupled with enthusiasm for some sort of disruptive innovation in bariatrics found me one day on a 3 D console of Da Vinci –the latest generation machine at Mohak. Bariatric essentially being a double quadrant surgery gave me the pain of double docking in my first 15 cases which was irritating and off putting. As we know that need is the mother of all innovations. We have now converted a double quadrant gastric bypass into a single quadrant approach. The average time from 1.5 hours has today has come down to 55 minutes….crossed 100 cases already! Sharing with you my technique with voice over explanation of gastric bypass and mini gastric bypass performed robotically on super obese patients…I hope you will like them. I am all open to any criticism… ROBOTIC GASTRIC BYPASS https://youtube/watch?v=bZor4dMKl2o&feature=youtu.beThank ROBOTIC MINI GASTRIC BYPASS https://youtube/watch?v=8qPeYbI2oH4&feature=youtu.be
