Rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated. many thanks to all of the first responders and hospital staff Wednesday nite, thanks also to my friend Luke Ruot who came from titusville to seneca to take me home. i dumped my bike at 55 -60 mph route 417 between dempseytown and franklin. i got into a curve faster than i wanted. instead of rolling on the throttle to give added stability to the bike, for whatever reaot me on the groundson i rolled of the throttle. the bike slowed, i was too deep in the curve to recover so i initiated a controlled stop wit the guard rail coming up fast. the bike hit gravel and it went into the rail and bounced off. i went e over the throttle and landed on my right wrist rolling about 25 feet. iwas able to stand and made it to the guard rail to sit. one car passed by a few seconds later. the second stopped. i pulled off my right glove and blood poured every where. i handed off the phone and someone ground and started first aid for shock. i am very lucky. only a compound fracture of the ri.ght wrist and severe road rash. i was wearing a full face ,solid helmet, leather, heavy padded gloves, leather shoes and jeans...and my saint dominic medal. the hounds of God protected me. the bike had also been blessed twice! God is good. He gas more for me to do. i expect the bike is a total loss. i had collision. not wearing full gear is suicide.
