SALES SUPPORT – SCIENTIFIC – FOUR DAY WEEK - Thornleigh We are a small, well established company located in Thornleigh marketing a range of specialised consumables to analytical chemistry laboratories Australia wide. An opportunity now exists for an internal sales support person, working four days a week. This position is well suited to an experienced laboratory technician wishing to change to a role within a technical sales company. As part of a team that ensures the smooth delivery of products and services you can expect that the workload will be shared between internal sales activities as well as administration/clerical duties. These would include, but definitely not be limited to: Internal Sales - Responding to phone & email enquiries, preparing quotations, providing technical product information - Maintain and expand the existing database and web-site - Identify and approach potential customers with information and pricing to win new business. - Assist with the development and implementation of marketing programs and initiatives Administration /Clerical - Order entry, warehouse goods receipting and dispatching - Reception, administration and some routine clerical/book keeping duties Key selection criteria • Laboratory experience, preferably in an analytical chemistry laboratory environment • Aptitude to pick up technical product knowledge • Professional and courteous phone manner • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Current valid Drivers License • Adaptability to the demands and requirements of working within a small company environment As the successful candidate, you will receive a remuneration package consistent with your experience and the value you bring to the company.
